What is Activate Archery Tag Brisbane?
Activate Archery Tag Brisbane runs archery tag events across north and south Brisbane for both children and adults. Archery tag is a safe, fast-paced and incredibly fun sport that can be played both indoors and outdoors. Think dodgeball, paintball and archery all merged into one action-packed game! Archery tag is played on a rectangular field with participants using recurve bows and specially designed foam-tipped arrows (so they don’t hurt the opponent). The objective of the game is to hit or ‘tag’ other players or to knock out the center targets of the opposing teams target board with an arrow. Inflatable bunkers are spread throughout the field for players to hide behind and face-masks are worn at all times during the games.
Private Event Hire
Activate Archery Tag Brisbane runs archery tag events for players aged 7 and above. No previous experience is required as the event coordinator will teach your group how to use the bow before the game begins. Activate Archery Tag is ideal for children and adults alike and is available to hire for a variety of events including birthday parties, incursions, school groups, private group sessions, team-building events, bucks and hens’ parties, sports club events, community events and more!

Event Location Options
Activate Sports operates a mobile service and can bring the action to you! You are able to host a private event at your home, property, a local park or sports club, or at a local hall, or at a local indoor sports venue. See more information about each location below:
Hosting a Private Event at Home: To hold an archery tag event at your home or property, you will need a space of at least 8m x 15m. The Activate Sports event host will arrive 45 minutes early to set-up the Archery Tag arena with inflatable bunkers and prepare the equipment
Hosting a Private Event at a Park or Sports Field: You are able to host an archery tag event at a local park or sports field. The park/field will be booked by Activate Sports staff, just supply them with your preferred options. The event host will arrive 45 minutes early to set-up the Archery Tag arena with inflatable bunkers and prepare the equipment.
Hosting a Private Event at an Indoor Sports Venue or Hall: A great way to enjoy an archery tag event is to host it at a local indoor sports centre or community/sports hall. That way, the event will proceed rain, hail or shine! Most venues allow guests to provide their own catering. The event host will meet you at the venue and have the Archery Tag arena set-up and ready to go prior to your arrival. Hosting at an indoor location will incur a small additional charge (usually between $100-200) to cover hire costs.

Absolutely not. The bows are designed to limit the power of the arrows and the arrows are designed with a large foam tip on the end to absorb the impact. You will definitely feel where you got tagged but it will not hurt or leave a bruise.
Yes! We supply face masks and arm guards for all players. Players cannot participate without wearing these safety items
We can set up at your home, a local park or an indoor sports venue near you. Activate Sports is happy to book the venue, but it is helpful if you can give us some ideas as you are a local in that area. We can only set up in a backyard as long as it is big enough for the event. We also have a dedicated Activate Archery Tag Brisbane venue where you can host your event. This is at Northside Indoor Sport & Fitness, North Lakes.
We need at least 8m 15m. Approximately the size of a tennis court is ideal. The larger the event, the more space that is needed.
