What is Activate Archery Tag Brisbane?
Activate Archery Tag Brisbane runs archery tag events across north and south Brisbane. Archery tag is a safe, fast-paced and incredibly fun sport that can be played both indoors and outdoors. Think dodgeball, paintball and archery all merged into one action-packed game! Archery tag is played on a rectangular field with participants using recurve bows and specially designed foam-tipped arrows (so they don’t hurt the opponent). The objective of the game is to hit or ‘tag’ other players or to knock out the center targets of the opposing teams target board with an arrow. Inflatable bunkers are spread throughout the field for players to hide behind.
Event Hire
Activate Archery Tag Brisbane runs archery tag events for players aged 7 and above. No previous experience is required as the event coordinator will teach your group how to use the bow before the game begins. Activate Archery Tag is ideal for children and adults alike and is available to hire for a variety of events including birthday parties, school groups, private group sessions, team-building events, bucks and hens’ parties, sports club events, community events and more!
Activate Archery Tag Brisbane is a mobile service and we can set up in a location near you. We can run events in a park, local sports field, school gym or even a backyard if its big enough! Alternatively you can use one of our dedicated Activate Archery Tag venues to host your event. This will incur a small additional charge to cover court hire costs. These venues have canteen facilities or you can choose to supply your own food, cakes, drinks, etc.

After School Program
The Activate Archery Tag Brisbane also runs a School Program. The after school program runs for 8 weeks and involves children learning and playing the sport of Archery Tag. The program is heavily discounted in comparison to normal event hire costs. This is because Activate Sports is a family run business, and wants to give children a chance to experience the game of Archery Tag. The program runs on the school grounds and immediately follows the end of the school day. This means that you can pick your kids up a little bit later from school, which many parents find a big help!
The 8-week program involves children practicing target shooting as well as playing a number of different game modes. Activate Archery Tag Brisbane gets kids active and working together to achieve a common goal, all while having a blast! School sports coordinators and administrators are also encouraged to contact Activate Sports to discuss their individual requirements.

Absolutely not. The bows are designed to limit the power of the arrows and the arrows are designed with a large foam tip on the end to absorb the impact. You will definitely feel where you got tagged but it will not hurt or leave a bruise.
Yes! We supply face masks and arm guards for all players. Players cannot participate without wearing these saefty items
We can set up at your home, a local park or an indoor sports venue near you. Activate Sports is happy to book the venue, but it is helpful if you can give us some ideas as you are a local in that area. We can only set up in a backyard as long as it is big enough for the event. We also have a dedicated Activate Archery Tag Brisbane venue where you can host your event. This is at Northside Indoor Sport & Fitness, North Lakes.
We need at least 8m 15m. Approximately the size of a tennis court is ideal. The larger the event, the more space that is needed.
